Wilderness Falls

Wilderness Falls

I've not found a reliable source (besides the name of the new trail) for its name, so we'll match it to the trail name. The waterfall is a high, steep slide with an open canopy before veering sideways into some smaller cascades that end under the trees. It needs good water flow to look its best.

This high falls is now fairly easily reached, since the Forest Service blazed the Wilderness Falls trail past its base. Follow the trail from either end to reach the falls.
