Onion Falls

Onion Falls lies just below the dam that creates Thorpe Reservoir, and appears to be man-made. It's at the end of the dam's spillway, where the river pours down the side of the former river gorge. When it has water, this is an enormous, wide, steep cascade, which tumbles down a series of ledges on the massive cliff face.

Like High Falls downstream, Onion Falls is all but dry - unless it is one of the dam's "release days".
